Engine Company One of the Hauppauge Fire Department recently commissioned the painting of a commemorative mural at their quarters in station # 2 on Terry Road in the memory of the late Peter Brennan, an Engine 1 Lieutenant, and a FDNY firefighter assigned to Rescue # 4 in the borough of Queens. As most know Pete was lost while he and 342 of his brother firefighters were performing valiantly at Manhattan Box 5-5 8087 (World Trade Center). Many thanks to the Chief Officers and the Board of Fire Commissioners and to Nicole Lombardo wife of Engine Company One member John Lombardo for doing a fine painting. Many thanks to John Spiciati for providing this photo so we can share it with all that can't observe it in person.
